This is a modern biocomposite bow. Practically, it is also a laminated bow; however, the external layers are not synthetic but made of biocomposite materials. On the face, it resembles a traditional composite horn bow with thin reflex arms.
It can also be called a hybrid bow, as it combines the technologies of laminated and horn bows. The biocomposite structure consists of the following layers: biocomposite horn, a wood or bamboo core, and a pressed sinew plate. The wrapping on the bow is also biocomposite sinew.
This model can be ordered with a genuine stingray skin arrow pass, which provides exceptional durability and a smooth, wear-resistant surface where the arrow contacts the bow. Additionally, it is equipped with a string bridge, which helps stabilize the string angle and reduce vibrations, leading to a more consistent and efficient energy transfer.
Csaba Grózer’s biocomposite bows offer an incredibly smooth shooting experience, even at full draw, with minimal residual vibration upon release. They provide optimal performance characteristics while maintaining an authentic external appearance.

The Tatar bow is a traditional composite bow made from a combination of materials such as wood, animal sinew, leather, and horn. This construction provided exceptional flexibility and draw strength, while maintaining a lightweight design, which was crucial for mobility, long-range attacks, and rapid maneuvers. Primarily used by Turkic and Tatar peoples during the Middle Ages, the Tatar bow was compact yet powerful and highly flexible.
